My journey to the law began 40 years ago in a one-room Mennonite schoolhouse. My first teacher was one of the most brilliant women I’ve ever known, yet she lacked a high school diploma and earned less than minimum wage. At the time, I wasn’t expected to graduate high school—let alone college or law school. That background instilled in me a relentless drive to succeed and a deep-seated belief that with the right support, any business can thrive regardless of where it starts.
Today, I am the founder of my own solo practice and have been a licensed attorney for 17 years. With over 15 years of legal experience—including a decade specialized in transactional work—I serve as a dedicated advisor to franchisees and business owners nationwide.
